Description
The psychological concept of illusion is defined as a process involving an interaction of logical and empirical considerations. Common usage suggests that an illusion is a discrepancy between one's awareness and some stimulus. Lotus Illusion from distance appears to be somewhat normal, upon a closer look it looks distorted the way I intended.

Fabulous photograph of a Lotus with great colors, light, reflections, processing, and composition, Don!

Lovely distortion of the senses...especially since a 'lotus-eater' was a person who indulges in pleasure and luxury rather than real life.
Don Columbus replied:
Thank you very much Barbie!! Tennyson's poem does fit well within the discrepancies of one's mind in my description...

Interesting definition, Don, and the colors in this image are gorgeous! l/f
Don Columbus replied:
Thank you Judi!! The definition is in reference to what takes in ones mind, whether realized by the individual or not. So it is a bit more technical than Webster.
