Description
Attracted by the bright neon lights against a black sky I stopped to take some pictures of this classic diner design, surprising to me I became more interested in the man in the photo. He was was trying to sell balloons to patrons coming out of the restaurant. It was interesting to watch his behavior and the reactions of the people who he approached. He didn't sell any of his balloons while I was there. In this shot he represents loneliness and hard times to me.

That's what's nice about working your own business - going to work in your underwear! Wonder if sales would improve if he wore more - something like one of those coin changers one wears about the waist. You never know what works, guess that's why we keep punching those frogs!
