Description
These soup ladles and Campbell's Soups signs were attached to the wall of the one room Cook's House at the Immokalee Pioneer Museum at Robert's Ranch. The museum sits on a 13-acre historic site that includes the original home of cattleman Robert Roberts and his family. The museum provides visitors with a glimpse of what the daily working life on a Southwest Florida pioneer homestead. It is well worth the drive from Naples about 44 miles from downtown.

Love this image, Don, the wood really warms it up and gives a rustic mood. I'm old enough to remember enamel kitchen wares.

The soup labels and pan are amazingly preserved. You can imagine the treatment they got! l/f/t

Don, great shot. Nice description, it looks like someone at the museum should wash them. l/f
Don Columbus replied:
Thank you, Cindy!! They have been untouched in at least 60 years as the museum left this one room in the condition it was found in.

Great image! I love the simplicity of it all and from your story, it sounds like a must go-to destination. Anytime history is preserved, it is worth a visit.
